EarthDance Groningen joined the the global festival in the year 2000 when Boom! Records lit up the EarthDance torch with an memorable event in Groningen. In the years to follow, Boom! Records took advantage of it's many years of experience as record label to make EarthDance Groningen one of the most succesful annual events on the EarthDance Global Network Map.

EarthDance Groningen has seen the best of artists signed by Boom! Records and their affiliate labels. International DJ's who appeared on EarthDance Groningen include John Phantasm and Dick Trevor.

 Awareness
EarthDance Groningen has generated plenty thousands of Euros for the Child Welfare Scheme in support of their mission to help the children living on the streets in Kathmandu and other places within the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal.
